INTEGRATION DRILLS


The following are copyrighted materials. You may only use these processes with the understanding that you absolve the NAP webmaster, Steve Mensing, and the web host of any responsibility for the application or misapplication of these processes. People with a history of mental illness, severe trauma, or panic are urged only to do these processes with a trained professional.

INTEGRATION DRILLS

These two Integration Drills are for integrating and clearing feelings, beliefs, and physical sensations.

INTEGRATION DRILL I

Here are the steps:

(1) MERIDIAN TRACE & HEART REGION HOLD: Place your palm on the center of the top of your head and slowly bring it down the center line of your body all the way to your groin.
Do this trace 3 times. Next place your right palm on the region of your heartbeat and keep it there for the remainder of this exercise.

(2)FOCUS: Allow your unconscious to select a feeling, belief, or physical sensation that has been disturbing you. After this selection has been made allow yourself to fully experience this feeling, belief, physical sensation (f,b,ps) in your body. You may heighten these feelings or sensations by permitting sense imagery of events related to these f,b,ps to emerge. Allow all your sense to be involved. Feel. Hear. See. Smell. Taste. Let this felt sense percolate and intensify. Give yourself time. Do not be alarmed if your f,b,ps abruptly evaporates or alters in felt sense during any part of this exercise. ALLOW YOUR F/B/PS TO BE THERE FULLY WITH NO INTENTION OF GETTING RID OF IT OR KEEPING IT.

(3) PAINT/TELL/CREATE A FEELING: If your f/b/ps could paint a picture, what might it paint? Allow your felt sense to paint a picture in your mind. Notice the picture and return to fully experiencing your f/b/ps. If your f/B/ps could tell you something important, what might it tell you? Return to fully experiencing your f/b/ps. If your f/b/ps could create a new felt sense, what felt sense might it create? Return to fully experiencing your f/b/ps.

(4) NO JUDGEMENT/NO EVALUATION: Become aware of any judgements or evaluations you place on your f/b/ps. Allow these judgements or evaluations to be there with no intention to get rid of them or keep them. You may observe them as visible labels and watch them naturally vanish away. Just observe them and you will notice they naturally lose strength.

(5) ENERGY/CONSCIOUSNESS: You many call your f/b/ps "energy" or "consciousness" for they truly are made of both. Fully experience your f/b/ps as either "energy" or "consciousness". Make no attempt at getting rid or or keeping these energy or consciousness forms. Allow them to be there and keep experieicing them for as long as you can. Integration will be complete when you no longer experience the f/b/ps with any emotional charge.


INTEGRATION DRILL II

(1) HEART HOLD/PALM HOLD: For the duration of this exercise place your right palm on the region of your heartbeat and place your other palm on the location of your feeling/belief/physical sensation (f/b/ps) when it emerges in step 2. The area of the f/b/ps may be gently rubbed in a clockwise and counter clockwise motion whenever this intuitively occurs to you.

(2)FOCUS: Allow your unconscious to select a f/b/ps that has been disturbing you. After the selection has been made, allow yourself to fully experience your f/b/ps in your body. You may heighten these feelings or sensations by permitting a sensory image of events related to your f/b/ps to emerge. Allow all your senses to become involved. Feel. Hear. See. Smell. Taste. Let this felt sense percolate and intensify. Give yourself time. Do not be alarmed if your f/b/ps suddenly evaporates during this or any other point during the exercise. Allow your F/B/PS to be fully there with no intention of getting rid of it or keeping it.

(3) INTENSIFY/MAKE A PHOTOCOPY: Choose either or do both:

(a) Allow your f/b/ps to intensify. Allow it to become more intensely felt, brighter, louder.
Fully experience the intensification with no intention of getting rid of it or keeping it. Just pay complete attention to it. You may gently rub the area of its location.

(b) Make an exact mental photocopy of your f/b/ps. Notice copy's shape, density, and felt sense. Now shift your attention back and forth between your felt sense of the copy and your original f/b/ps. Shift back and forth several times. If either blips out that's okay. If both blip out, that's okay.

(4)CONSCIOUSNESS: If any of the f/b/ps remains, notice it is made of "consciousness". After you have observed the f/b/ps is made of "consciousness", notice also what is observing is made of "consciousness".

(5)REMOVE CONSCIOUSNESS LABELS: Simply permit your unconscious to remove the label of "consciousness" from both what is being observed and the observer. Allow whatever experience remains to be there with no intention of getting rid of it or keeping it.
